VA Certifying Official's Office
Located on Main Campus, this is the office where you can get your schedule certified and ask detailed questions regarding your educational benefits.
Veterans Resource Center
The Veterans Resource Center is located on South Campus at the Northwest corner of University and Avenida Cesar Chavez. There, you can find a wealth of information and resources concerning both benefits and local resources.
UNM Career Services
This office can assist you in your long term goals of employment after you graduate. They also have counselors available for resume and interview training.
UNM Financial Aid Office
This office can assist you with obtaining grants, loans, and scholarships.
NOTE: The Federal Government does NOT use your Veteran Benefits when calculating your eligibility for free financial aid. Every Veteran attending UNM should fill out their FAFSA!!!

NOTE: New Mexico does NOT charge out-of-state tuition rates for Veterans. Please visit an admissions counselor in person to file for in-state tuition rates if you are not a resident.

New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions - VETS Program
Dedicated to the employment of Veterans. This resource can also help you find VA Work Study Positions.
New Mexico Department of Veterans' Services
This department assists Veterans in a wide variety of problems, to include disability compensation claims with the VA.
VA Medical Center Albuquerque
Home page for the VA Hospital here in Albuquerque.
Albuquerque Vet Center
Falls under the Department of Veteran Affairs' Vet Centers Program for Veterans who have served in a combat zone.
New Mexico Veterans and Family Support Services
Seperate from the VA, this state funded program assists Veterans and family members with their transition from military to civilian life.
New Mexico Military Order of the Purple Heart
Assists ALL Veterans with disability claims and appeals. Also has initiated a mentorship program for OEF/OIF Veterans for transitioning back to civilian life
