The y = mx + b Method
The y = mx + b equation is
y = -3/4x -1
where b is the y-intercept.
Go from the origin (0,0)
to the y-intercept (b) at (0,-1).
Slope m is a fraction, rise/run or -3/4.
The line has a uniform slope
from (0,-1) to (4,-4).
Move down rise of -3.
Move right the run of 4.
Then the plot of the actual points,
(0,-1) and (4,-4).
