Memberships for 2008 will be open for renewal in March 2008.

A limited number of memberships are available on a first-come, first-serve basis until mid-October of each year.
Current members have the first opportunity to renew by May 1 of each year.
We do not announce the name of the artist in advance,
but we assure you that it will be a high quality print by a recognized artist--
appropriate to add to your own collection or to donate to your favorite museum
(and possibly take advantage of a tax deduction).

HOW IT WORKS:

The Collector's Club opens in March when we send the previous year's members a renewal letter. From March until May 1, these previous members only have a chance to renew their memberships. After May 1, all spots are open to anyone who wishes to join. Remeber these dates as there are a limited number of prints!

Purchase or renew your membership by phone, email or mail. Provide billing and shipping addresses (Please note, we ship our prints UPS Ground, and therefore cannot ship to PO boxes. If you would like to make other arrangements, please let us know.)

You will receive a thank you confirmation letter containing your print number, payment information/ receipt and your shipping address.

In early-mid October we will send out a letter to members announcing who the artist is for that year's print, along with a short bio about their career. Two weeks later your print is in the mail! (Or if you live in the Albuquerque or Santa Fe area it is available for pick-up)

tamarind foundation

The Tamarind Foundation was founded in 1981 to help support Tamarind's educational programs. Although we are a division of the College of Fine Arts of the University of New Mexico, we receive only partial funding from the University. Many of our special projects are possible only through the generosity of our friends.

Annual support from the Foundation membership is used primarily for scholarships and occasionally for symposia, publications, and other special projects .Collectors who become Foundation members for an annual fee of $450 receive a signed and numbered lithograph from a specially commissioned edition created each year by an internationally known artist. The edition is limited to one hundred or fewer impressions, and is distributed exclusively to our Collectors.
