Jayne Schell grew up in the Jemez Mountains of Northern New Mexico. She earned her BFA in textile design at the University of Kansas in Lawrence and her Montessori pre-school certification from MECA in Hinsdale, Illinois. In 2000, Jayne moved back to New Mexico with her family. With two small children, Jayne sought out fun activities which led her to the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos where she plans, designs, teaches and evaluates many educational programs, including Harwood Art in the Schools, Museum Adventures in Art, Saturday Arts for Families, Art and Movement and Art Exploration Workshops.
Jayne is a certified yoga instructor and the Jivamukti Yoga instructor in the state of New Mexico. She has developed "Art and Movement", a program for the Harwood Museum of Art which integrates kid-sized yoga class with a related activity. She also teaches a weekly adult Jivamukti Yoga class in the Harwood's Agnes Martin Gallery.

Laura Stewart has been studying and teaching yoga for over 30 years.
As a professional dancer in New York, Laura originally turned to yoga
as a way to overcome dance injuries. Since then she has found yoga to
be at least as beneficial to her emotional and mental life as the
physical, and her practice and teaching seeks to find balance between
these realms. She has taught througout New England, in the Bahamas,
and in New Mexico, and continues to study with yoga masters. The study
of the Chinese 5 Elements and Chi Gong is a current addition to her
