I cannot rant and rave enough about this band.  Boston epitomizes rock and roll in my mind.  I started listening to Boston about 10 years ago when I was in junior high.  Strangely enough, it was all of those guitar rock commercials which was my only gateway to classic rock and roll at the time, and eventually "More Than a Feeling", one of the bands biggest hits, grew on me to the point where I had to own the tape.  Since purchasing that tape many years ago, Boston has remained my favorite band by a land slide.  Tom Scholz, the musical mastermind behind the band, is a musical genius in my opinion.  His music ultimately inspired me to take up guitar, and in the few songs I've since written, Boston's influence on my own music is apparent.  I can only hope that one day I shall be half the musician Tom Scholz has become.
