I've been swooshin' away my life on the ski slopes every winter for about 10 years now.  Skiing rules!!  I usually try and head up to the slopes at least 8 or 10 times per winter, but my buddy, El Niņo, may persuade me to ski even more this winter.  A few seasons ago, I finally got a new pair of Salomon Axendo 9 shaped skis, and they are truly awesome (I've got a picture of them below).   Having a good ski under your feet really does make all the difference in the world.  Anyway, below I've got some links to  homepages of ski areas I go to regularly.
