Scholarship Competition
The Theta Xi Chapter awards 4 scholarships each semester to one of its most active candidates and members in these categories:
- Undergraduate Candidate
- Graduate Candidate
- Undergraduate Member
- Graduate Member
To determine these awards a point system is used to track participation in chapter activities.
Here is a general list of activities and their respective point allocations:

| Other points may be awarded at the discretion of the chapter president & secretary. Each opportunity will be open to all BAP candidates and members and will be announced in advance on the email list serve |
The point values for each member and candidate will be updated on a monthly basis. Results will be posted on the website.

Eligibility and Guidelines
- Officers of the chapter are not eligible for this competition
- Must be a candidate or member in good standing
- If a tie occurs among the top point recipients, the tie will be broken based on the cumulative UNM GPA of the qualifiers in their current program of study
