RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research focuses on wisdom, ethics, and mystical themes in ancient Greek philosophy: Pythagoreanism, Socrates, Plato, and the Neoplatonists (Plotinus, Iamblichus, and Proclus). Other major interests include comparative philosophy and philosophy and mysticism in South Asia.
