Multiple Academic Pathways for Students

M.A.P.S

M.A.P.S. Home Page The Mission of M.A.P.S. is to increase student engagement with academic support programs, increase faculty engagement with student learning, and increase student to student engagement through mutual support for academic activities.

M.A.P.S., is related to the documented problems of engagement, retention, and graduation. This relationship is based on the demonstrated student, faculty, and staff need to be more aware of the support services available and provide students an interactive venue to seek assistance. M.A.P.S. provides students with a tool to navigate the academic, social, and cultural support programs available on and off campus.

Past and Current M.A.P.S. projects include M.A.P.S. and MyPage development, UNM One-Stop initiative, E-Portfolio development, Advisor's Project, and the just-completed LOBOTrax project that went online February 22, 2010, replacing the old, outdated Student Audit Report. M.A.P.S. projects increase awareness and utilization of academic support services by making those services more visible and accessible campus wide.
