Samsung Document Camera
The Samsung Document Camera is located in all of the instructor sympodiums. Some rooms have a different setup than others but for the most part they are all the same configuration.
The first step in displaying the document camera is to have the projector on "Computer 1" and the Extron switch to DOC. The buttons that you will use are as follows:
- On/Off- This button will turn the document camera on and off.
- Freeze- this allows you to freeze an image on the screen while you shuffle around other documents.
- Zoom- this allows the viewer to zoom in and out of a page in order to see it better
- Rotate- if you have an object that is hard to look at vertically and you would like to show it horizontally or vice versa this tool allows you to do so.
- Lamp- there is 3 lamp modes on the document camera. There are the 2 lamps on the left and right, there is a lamp underneath, (for transparencies) and there is an option of having no lamp. Click on the lamp button to alternate the 3 types.
- Iris- the Iris tool allows you to show your documents brighter or darker. Increase and decrease the amount of light by pressing the + and - buttons.
