2012.91.105, stoneware jar; Han dynasty (206 B.C.–A.D.220)
Eason Eige Collection; photo by B. Bernard.
This 7 inch (18 cm) tall storage jar was for everyday use, and is as plain
as a wheel-thrown pot can be. The potter nonetheless took care to give the
pot a pleasing shape.
