2012.91.106, blue and white ware dish; Qing dynasty, A.D. 1700s
Eason Eige Collection; photo by B. Bernard.
Was this small dish made for the export market, or for use within China, or both?
We don't see any attributes that specifically mark it as designed for the
export market, so haven't included it with the
export pieces. The next shot
gives a better sense of the shape of the dish, which measures about 5 1/2
inches (14 cm) across.
