A vessel from Szechuan

This handled jar was found in the Lifan District of Szechuan. At the time it was made the area had not yet been absorbed by imperial China, but finds such as western Han coins show the district's ties to that world.

The jar is 7 inches ((17 cm) tall. A second view of the jar is provided below.
