How To Increase Your Browser's Viewing Area

Depending on your monitor's setting, you may not be able to see a simulation's entire display on your screen. It is easy to increase the viewing area of your monitor's display.

If you're using Netscape Navigator/Communicator

1. Click on View in the top menu bar, or simultaneously depress the Alt and V keys on the keyboard. This will display a "drop-down" menu containing several choices
2. Place the cursor on Show (or depress the "w" key on your keyboard). This will cause a pop-up menu that allows you to toggle display of the Navigation Toolbar, Location Toolbar, and Personal Toolbar. Turning off display of one or more of these toolbars will increase the viewing area of your browser's display and will make it easier to see the entire simulation's display. You toggle each toolbar on or off by either clicking on its entry or by simultaneously pressing the Alt key and the key corresponding to the underlined letter in the name of the toolbar (Alt-N, Alt-L, or Alt-P).

If you're using Internet Explorer

1. Click on View in the top menu bar, or simultaneously depress the Alt and V keys on the keyboard. This will display a "drop-down" menu containing several choices, including one for Toolbar and one for Status Bar. Turning off display of one or more of these toolbars will increase the viewing area of your browser's display and will make it easier to see the entire simulation's display. You toggle each toolbar on or off by either clicking on its entry or by simultaneously pressing the Alt key and the key corresponding to the underlined letter in the name of the toolbar (Alt-T or Alt-S).
