Important Information for Users of MacIntosh machines

First of all, you must make sure that Java is enabled for your browser! If you don't know how to do this, click here.
If you're using a MacIntosh machine, the simulations apparently cannot be run if you are using Netscape as your browser, but they seem to work with Internet Explorer. The mode of connection to UNM's server (dialup or ethernet) doesn't appear to matter as it does for IBM compatible users. Apparently, the Java implementation in Mac versions of Netscape does not work as well as it should (read: not at all many times), and it certainly won't run these simulations. If you're a committed Mac/Netscape person, you'll likely need to download a fix from: http://www.sabremedia.com/javaprob.html. This fix is purported to take care of the problem many Mac users have encountered wherein Netscape tends to crash things when you're doing the web-surfing thing. (note: I'm not a Mac user, so I can't vouch for how well the fix works)
