Gifts to the President's Club support the University president's vision for enhanced academic excellence and student enrichment at the University of New Mexico. A current initiative, the Freshman Learning Communities, is improving undergraduate programs to increase retention and graduation rates.

Donors become members of the President's Club through annual unrestricted gifts to the President's Fund for Academic Excellence. This fund is dedicated to presidential initiatives for programs that may not receive funding from traditional sources.

An annual gift of $5,000 or more to the University of New Mexico Foundation, at least $2,500 of which is designated for the President's Fund for Academic Excellence, qualifies an individual for membership in the President's Club. Donors may designate the balance of their gift to any University school, college or program.

These gifts to UNM help ensure the highest quality education, taught by a world-class faculty, in a setting conducive to learning.
