Main Campus

The Main Campus for the University of New Mexico is located in Albuquerque. With a grant from the Territory of New Mexico in 1889 the University started with 20 acres of land, which was in the southwest corner of the current day Main Campus. Today Main Campus' boundaries are University Blvd. on the west, Central Avenue on the South, Girard Blvd. on the East and Lomas Blvd. on the North, containing approximately 600 Acres.
