Aug. 7 UNM Alumni Make International Sides

Marc West, a UNM Rugby Alumni has just recently left the United States to go play rugby in London, with HERTFORD RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB . He is orginally from Artesia, NM. Another UNM Alumni, Croix Thompson, recently played for Niger in in the Central African Cup, which they won an artilce can be viewed here here. UNM also made recent news on American Rugby News.com showing how we promote the game of rugby in the U.S, read it here. The fall season is apporaching as school starts. There will be a training camp for those that want to play the Thursday and Friday before school starts. The Alumni match will be held on the following Saturday, Aug 19. The Fall schedule will be updated very soon, so come back to view that. Fans and others will also be able to look forward to video highlights of the Lobo games this semester through the website, so stay tuned.

May. 10 UNM Men to Face Welsh International Select Side

The UNM mens team is to face the Crawshays on their way to San Fransico. This team is a select traveling side from Wales and many rugby greats have played on this team, this link will let you look at their side.

UNM Coach suggested as USA Eagles Replacement

Ian Jones was mentioned as a possible replacement for the recently resigned head coach of the USA Eagles in an American Rugby News Artilce. It can be read here.

Apr. 10 UNM Women go to WRFU Playoffs

UNM Women had a succesful weekend at the Western's Collegiate Finals winning two games and placing 3rd overall. They beat Wayne State University in the first round but lost to league rivals, Air Force, which loss them a chance at going to the sweet 16, but came back on Sunday to take third place in the tournament.

Mar. 15 UNM goes to Cal Invite

UNM goes to Cal invite and takes second beating Cal Poly 30-25 in the first round. Read more here.
