Mission
The Department of English Language and Literature at the University of New Mexico at Valencia Campus is a part of one of the largest and most vibrant departments in the University of New Mexico. Our undergraduate students pursue diverse studies in many disciplines. In our department, they enjoy a rich learning environment in which they learn to communicate effectively, to read critically, and to write professionally. The Department of Language and Literature provides essential core courses required of every undergraduate who attends UNM.
