Financial aid checks are disbursed through the Valencia Campus Cashier's office.

Any student who receives financial aid and subsequently withdraws from school may be required to repay that financial aid. This can affect future financial aid eligibility.

Students receiving financial aid should pick up their checks at the Cashier’s Office the first week of classes based on a disbursement schedule posted in the Cashier's Office and the course schedule. If a student’s check is not available on the scheduled disbursement date, the student should contact the Financial Aid Office at 925-8590.

The Cashier’s Office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. See the course schedule for extended hours for the start of classes. No checks are disbursed until the first day of classes. All questions concerning financial aid checks should be directed to the Financial Aid Office at 925-8590.

 

 

 

 

 

Tuition Refund Policy

 

For 3 week (or less) courses:
First day of classes 100%
After first day of classes... No Refund

Longer than 3-up to 6 week courses:
Friday of the first week of classes 100%
After Friday of the first week of classes... No Refund

Longer than 6-up to 9 week courses:
Friday of the second week of classes 100%
After Friday of the second week of classes... No Refund

Longer than 9 week courses:
Friday of the third week of classes 100%
After Friday of the third week of classes... No Refund

All tuition and special course fee charge adjustments are based on the date of the official drop, withdrawal, or disenrollment. To receive consideration for a refund of paid tuition and fees, students must go to the Student Services Center and complete drop procedures for their courses.

Immediate cash refunds are not given for withdrawal from the University or for reduction in paid credit hours. If a refund is due and payment was made by check, there is a 21-day hold period from the payment receipt date before refund is processed.

Mastercard/Visa card refunds are credited to the charge card. Students must provide credit card number and expiration date to the Cashier’s Office.

The refund check may be picked up in the Cashiers Office or mailed to the student’s current system address. Please confirm address with the Cashier’s Office.
