Important Dates and Deadlines

May 10 - Last day to certify a spring only or fall/spring only loan. Last business day of spring           semester.

May 10 Summer payment plans may be set up

May 18 - Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and Scholarship Denial processes run.

May 20/21 - First SAP denial notifications sent.

  • Notification will be via email (UNM and alternative addresses).

May 24 - First scholarship denial notifications sent.

  • Notification will be via email (UNM and alternative addresses).

May 29 - Summer disbursement begins this evening.

            - Email notification of required summer payment

May 31, Summer enrollent cancellation.

June 3 Summer semester begins

June 7 Summer first four week class last day for a refund

June 14, Summer 8 week class last day for a refund

July 5 Summer second four week class last day for a refund

July 6 Fall memos and authorizations begin this evening

July 11 First Fall billings statement issued

July 12  Fall payment plans may be set up

Aug 7 Fall email notification of required payment for classes

Aug 9 Fall enrollment cancellation

Aug 19 Fall semester begins.

What are priority funds?  

Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG),

State Student Incentive Grant (SSIG),

3% grants, UNM II grants, federal and state work study, and the

Perkins loan program. 

File your FAFSA prior to March 1 to increase your eligibility to receive these limited funds.

We know how important an education can be to your future; let us assist you in obtaining that goal.
