1. Create a word cloud
- Type your words into the designated computer
- LeAnn will save the Word document to Student Folder "Homeless"
- LeAnn will use Wordle (http://www.wordle.net/) to create a word cloud.
2. Find books
- Use a catalog to find a book.
- Search by author or title of the book.
- Book exercise
4. Select a quote and cite it.
- Select a quote from "50 Essays".
- Open a Word Document and type the quote.
- Below the quote in the Word document write the citation for "50 Essays."
- Write your name on the document and print it.
- As a group, choose 1 quote and save it the the homeless folder on the student folder.
5. Find information
from a Database
Use a database.
- Choose one of these databases and search it for something relating to homeless.
- You will need to save the item to the Homeless folder on the Student Folder.
- Ask LeAnn for help with this after you have selected your item.
6. Add material to the glog.
- LeAnn will edit the class glog.
- Your group may edit the group glog.
