2014 Commemorative Holiday Ornament

Christmas Ornament

Our 2014 Commemorative Holiday Ornament is available for sale. Created by local artist, Jan Pacifico, founder of Tomé Art Gallery, located in historic Tomé. Jan has beenJan Pacifico making pottery for 51 years, taking her first class in college, where she majored in Art Education.  After receiving her Masters at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, she opened her first studio and gallery.  Before moving to NM in 1994, she operated a number of galleries, including one at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan.  She also sold wholesale to many retail stores, such as the Pottery Barn, Bloomingdales, and Macy’s.  She is currently one of the owners of the Tomé Art Gallery.  She recently retired from teaching to pursue making her functional stoneware and crystalline porcelain pottery full-time.

NM.  The proceeds from the sale of our ornament benefit our federally matched endowment, which supports UNM-Valencia Campus.
