During the intake interview, you'll meet with a tutor who will show you a video about the program, then explain the intake process to you. You will need to fill out a couple of forms and also sign a couple of releases. If you are under 18, you will need to bring a parent or legal guardian with you to the interview, because there are some forms they have to fill out as well.
The intake interview helps us get to know you, gives us an idea of what your goals are, and shows us how we can best help you meet those goals. If you have any questions or concerns about the process, ask the tutor during the interview. Our tutors are trained to help you get through the program successfully, and they can address any concerns you might have about the process.
Accommodations are available for those who require assistance with communication or with taking written tests. Please contact the Adult Education Center via phone (505-925-8900) or email to make arrangements for necessary accommodations before you come in for your Intake Interview.
