Computer Based Instruction and Keytrain

The Adult Education Center offers a variety of E-learning classes that allow students to drive their own learning experience. Using State-approved software, students in the CBI and Keytrain classes work at their own pace on GED-related subjects in an on-campus computer lab.

The Computer Based Instruction classes use MHC Interactive, a software suite designed specifically to prepare students for the GED examination. The Keytrain classes focus on the Keytrain software, which was created to train students for the WorkKeys career readiness examinations. The Keytrain software also has lessons that will enhance a student's skills in several of the GED subjects.

Students in all of our computer classes may have access to both MHC Interactive and Keytrain applications, as well as to supplemental programs such as AceReader Pro and Keyboarding Pro.
