The Intake Interview

Do you want to study for your GED, but you live too far from the UNM-VC Campus to make it practical to take classes? We've got the perfect solution for you: Distance Learning. The Distance Learning option is open to students who have barriers which make it difficult for them to attend classes on the UNM-VC campus on a regular basis.

In addition to online classes, we offer GED classes through satellite programs at Isleta, Mountainair, Torrance County, and Socorro. We also offer hybrid options that allow students to combine face to face classes with online work. Obviously, students wishing to take GED classes online must have a computer and reliable internet access.

Please note that none of our Distance Learning options are 100% off campus. In order to take online courses, students must first complete at least 12 hours of instruction and orientation on campus.Students will also be expected to come on campus periodically to re-assess and update paperwork.
