Students
who want to learn more about co-op begin by coming to the Co-op office, which
is located within Career Services in the
Learning
Resource
Center
. You
will go through the following steps to register into the Co-op Program.
Meet
with the Co-op Coordinator to discuss your job interests. The coordinator will
explain the program. There is no commitment on your part at this time, just an
opportunity to learn more about the program.
If
you choose to enroll in the program and if you are approved for co-op, you will
be given a packet containing: Co-op Application, Transcript Request
Form, and a Co-op Statement of Understanding. You must complete and
sign the form and provide the Co-op office with a current transcript and resume
in order to activate your file.
You need to contact a faculty member in your academic
department to discuss their willingness to work with you if a co-op position is
found.
