| For the past thirteen years I have been concentrating on the building and teaching of the Fine Arts Department at U.N.M. Valencia Campus, during this time I have also been deeply involved in researching the primal cultures and civilizations of the ancient Middle East , Europe, and North America. My studies of the symbolism and iconography of these diverse cultures has greatly influenced my art work, especially in the areas of the early expressions of a spiritual nature. |

I have been fascinated by the fact that among these
diverse cultural expressions many themes and visual icons seem to be universally
similar, or in some cases exactly the same. This has led me to incorporate
into my work those strong influences in an attempt to unify recognizable
shapes and symbolism to relate the oneness of human spirituality to a broad
and varied audience. |
