Erin Lebacqz teaches courses including Advanced Expository Writing,
English 101 and 102, Technical Writing, Traditional Grammar, and
Professional Writing courses. Prior to working at UNM, Erin taught high
school in California and New Mexico; she also teaches Developmental
English classes at TVI. Erin received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) and her Master’s in English at UNM.
Her writing interests fall under the areas technical writing and non-fiction. Erin has written materials for the healthcare field and for non-profits addressing the prison system, and also provides editing services for doctors of medicine. She has published articles about healthcare, education, and equal access. Further writing projects focus on economics and class in society, teaching practices and the purpose of education, and other socioeconomic issues. Occasionally, she delves briefly into creative writing.
