Bike to Work/School Day 2005

This year was a great success with people coming from around campus to learn about alternate forms of transportation. There was a great turn out for the bike auction and many people enjoyed the banana bread and punch provided courtesy of UNM WAYTOGO web site. There were booths set up by local and state agencies to give information regarding such programs such as rapid ride, Road Runner Rail, bike registering, health education from Student Services here at UNM, and Recreational Services was there to help with information on bike repairs. We even had a little luck when a couple balloons from the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta flew over the event and land at Johnson Field. I hope next year is just as successful!

Here are some pictures from this years event.
