UNM, UNMH Team Up to Provide Everyone Rail Runner Station Shuttle Service. UNM and UNMH shuttle services are combining resources to ensure that all Rail Runner passengers wanting a ride from the Alvarado station to UNM get one – free of charge. The courtesy shuttle service was initially offered on a trial basis to UNM and UNMH faculty and staff only. Because of increased demand, and with the fall semester just around the corner, the decision was made to expand the pilot program to students and visitors as well. ID is no longer required.

After work or school, hop on the Rapid Ride for dinner in Nobb Hill, shopping at Coronado Center or a movie downtown. Rapid Ride and the new RAD program is affordable, fast and convenient to members of the UNM community.

Rapid Ride runs along the Central corridor with stops convenient to the university. Uptown Park & Ride Now Operating:
Parking is available to commuters at the new Uptown Transfer Center on America's Parkway. To reach the Transfer Center, take I-40 to Louisiana, turn north on Louisiana and west on America's Parkway. The lot is located near the Coronado Mall. Commuters can park their car and catch a bus to get to work at UNM, Downtown or the West Side. For more information on the new Uptown Park & Ride Transfer Center http://www.cabq.gov/transit/pnr.html or call ABQ RIDE at 724-3100.

Commuters can park here free and take the Rapid into the Downtown, UNM and Uptown areas. We urge West Side commuters to use the service during the construction project on the Coors and I-40 Interchange to save time and avoid the stress of detours and delays. http://www.cabq.gov/transit/pnr.html

Find the Best Gas Prices
GasPriceWatch.com and GasBuddy.com are two great sources for the latest trends in gas pricing. Both sites offer information on low-priced local stations. Although not always the case, gasoline is usually the least expensive on Tuesdays.
