WRC offers a number of resources for single mothers including: advocacy, family-friendly computer pod, nursing space, peer-support groups, and referrals. 277-3716.

Breastfeeding Support Program supports those students, staff, faculty, and their partners/spouses who chose to continue breastfeeding their children after they return to school or work.

Displaced Homemakers The Displaced Homemakers / Women in Transition Program is dedicated to providing women in transition and displaced homemakers with the skills and confidence to help them achieve economic and emotional self-sufficiency for themselves and their families. 841-8920. http://www.state.nm.us/womenscommission/dho.htm

Sabrina Single Mother's Scholarship

Food Stamp Program serves as the first line of defense against hunger. It enables low-income families to buy nutritious food with coupons and Electronic Benefits Transfer cards. http://www.fns.usda.gov/fsp/

Housing Resources

SAFE (Formerly Women's Community Association) Shelter from Domestic Violence and Family Program provides emergency shelter and counseling services for victims of domestic violence. (505) 247-4219
