Following the success of the international workshops of Electronic Payment and Electronic Commerce in China (EPECC) and the Symposium on Financial Intelligence and Risk Management (FIRM’09), and the increasing education activities in e-Business and financial business intelligence worldwide, 2010 eBEREA Forum (eBEREAF’10) and the first Workshop on Business Intelligence Education (WBIE’10) are established together with the EPECC’10 and FIRM’10.

This joint conference, JCeSBI’10, aims to bring together international educators, researchers, and developers to exchange new ideas and latest achievements in the fields of e-business, e-Payment, and finance intelligence. The scope of the conference covers applications, systems, technologies and theoretical aspects of risk management, electronic payment, and business intelligence in the area of banking and finance.

Workshops & themes:

  • 2010 eBEREA Forum chaired by Dr. Juha Laine (Aalto University, Finland), Dr. Fuqiang Nie (SWUFE, China), Dr. Xianfeng Zhang (Xi'an Jiaotong University, China)
  •  The Second Symposium on Financial Intelligence and Risk Management (FIRM 2010) chaired by Dr. Xubin Luo (SWUFE, China), Dr. Huaiqing Wang (City University of Hong Kong, China), Dr. Mario Fedrizzi (University of Trento, Italy)
  •  The Third Workshop on ePayment and eCommerce at China (EPECC 2010) chaired by Dr. Kuanhai Zhang (SWUFE, China), Dr. Deren Chen (Zhe Jiang University, China), Dr. Marko Nieminen (Aalto University, Finland)
  • The First Workshop on Business Intelligence Education (WBIE 2010) chaired by Dr. Jianyuan Yan (Nankai University, China), Dr. Christer Carlsson (Åbo Akademi University, Finland), Dr. Qing Li (SWUFE, China)

JCeSBI’10 welcomes submissions of extended abstracts (400~1,000 words) or original papers (4,000 words). Selected best papers will appear in SCI-indexed or SSCI-indexed international journal(s). All papers in conference proceedings will be published online.

Important Dates

  • March 31, 2010: Extended deadline for submissions (paper & extended abstract)
  • April 31, 2010: Notification of acceptance to authors by email
  • June 4, 2010: Conference Day
  • June 5-6, 2010: Post conference events
  • August 31, 2010: Camera-ready manuscripts for special issue due
  • December 31, 2010: Expected publication of special issues
