Meeting Notes from 7/24/03


First we went over the products that we’ve been assigned, and the status of them to this point and/or who is really looking into this?

 

o       Byarni  – They mention a “web client.”  (David)

o       Meeting Maker – need more info (David)

o       SunOne – Wait State – Linux OS due in Sept.  (Steve)

o       Samsung – needs follow up. (David)

o       Share360 – needs follow up. (Rosemary)

o       Solve360 – Propriety, it is a “Service” (Rosemary)

o       UW – needs follow up. (Rosemary)

o       WebcalNG – (Rosemary)

o       iOffice – integrated suite, but claims to be POP3 only? (Rosemary)

o       FirstClass – Runs on W2K, OSX, and Linux due last quarter. (Rosemary)

o       CyberScheduler –(Rosemary)

o       JoyDesk – (Rosemary)

 

 

Steve is still checking large Universities, and doing a general search on what they are using for Web mail as well as calendaring.

 

The Banner Transition Team will be emailing these questions (passed through our team) to the Banner Large University listserv.  (Fred Youberg)
