Phi Sigma Tau is a philosophy honorary society whose purpose is to be a means for developing and honoring academic excellence as well as philosophical interest. Phi Sigma Tau stands for Filountwn Sofian Timhn (Of those who love wisdom, honor).
Two semesters attendance at UNM, sophomore standing or higher, with above a 3.0 G.P.A |
Completion of at least two courses in Philosophy with above a 3.0 G.P.A. |
Note: A $15 initiation fee is required after notification of membership. |
On March 25, Phi Sigma Tau held a meeting in conjunction with the Philosophy Colloquia, to discuss various topics of interest to Philosophy students. Guest Speaker was Dr. Allen Wood of Yale University.
