As the Executive Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) for the University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) I oversee the Interpreter Language Services (ILS), Native American Health Services (NAHS), Community Engagement, and the Health Literacy Office. I’m a native New Mexican from Valencia County. I lived and worked in Santiago de Compostela, Spain and studied at the University of São Paulo in São Paulo, Brazil and the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am pleased to be able to give back to my community through the work that I do today.
