About Bill Bloom
I was raised in Indiana and attended college at the University of New Mexico in the early '70s. I returned to the midwest and worked as a construction project manager ending up working primarily large industrial structural steel projects for Ford.
As the economy hit Detroit and the automobile industry scaled back, the request for quotes for new plant construction evaporated. I knew it would be a long dry spell in Detroit and decided to change the direction of my life. I moved my family back to New Mexico where we live today and I work for the University of New Mexico.
