Bill Gilbert

A series of reconstructed photographs completed in the course of my travels with the Land Arts of the American West program.  In this work I attempt to reconcile my bodily experience in moving across the seamless expanse of the southwestern deserts with the abstract political divisions imposed on the landscape.
