Dr. Durwood Ball, Editor lball@unm.edu
Professor Ball is an Associate Professor of History and has served as Editor of the New Mexico Historical Review since August 2000. He came to the NMHR after a ten-year editorial career at the University of New Mexico Press . He received his Ph.D. from the Department of History at the University of New Mexico in 1994. His fields of expertise are the American West and Southwest, U.S. military history, and public history. His publications include Army Regulars on the Western Frontier, 1848–1861 (University of Oklahoma Press, 2001) and journal articles on frontier military history. |

Cindy Tyson, Office Administrator ctyson@unm.edu
Cindy Tyson worked in the University of New Mexico History Department for ten years, five years in the departmental office and five years as the Administrative Assistant for the Center for the Southwest (formerly the Center for the American West). She started at the Review in the fall of 2003. She has a Master's degree in Family Studies from UNM and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She was born in Nevada and raised in the Southwest.

Kara has worked at the NMHR since 2008 and oversees the book review department. She is working toward a Ph.D. in American Studies. Her research focuses on the culture of the American West in Europe. |

Brandon has worked at the NMHR since 2008. He is working toward a Ph.D. in the Borderlands history. His work specifically concerns religion and culture in modern Mexico.
