There are literally hundreds of different opportunities available. I won't kid you - it is a very competitive process and the acadmeic level is high. But so are the rewards.

National Scholars

Approximately $13, 215 per year, renewable for 4 years National Merit Finalist or National Hispanic Scholar or National Achievement Scholar
Presidential December 1 Approximately $6,600 per year, renewable for 4 years 25 ACT (1140 SAT) and 3.75 GPA

UNM Scholars

February 1

Approximately $5,000 per year, renewable for 4 years 24 ACT (1090 SAT) and 3.3 GPA
NM Scholars While funds are available (apply early!) Tuition, fees, and books per year, renewable for 4 years 25 ACT (1140 SAT) or top 5% of graduating class
Bridge to Success None Variable; “bridge” to Lottery Scholarship 2.5 GPA or 530 GED score and full-time enrollment at a public NM college or university
