Division for Equity and Inclusion

Sophie LaBorwit is from New Mexico and graduated from UNM with Degrees in Sociology, Psychology, and Art. She is always motivated to learn and employ ways to build community engagement and cultivate more inclusive spaces. In the past, she has worked at a number of organizations serving unhoused women in Albuquerque, as well as working in informal education at the Maxwell Museum here on UNM campus.   In her free time, she enjoys painting and spending time outdoors. She is excited to work with DEI and getting to know everyone!
