Join Our Team - Open Positions
We are actively seeking motivated researchers to join our growing team. We welcome applications from students and postdocs with strong backgrounds in physics, engineering, and related fields.
PhD Graduate Students
Opportunities Available: Positions for motivated PhD students interested in experimental quantum sensing, atomic physics, and precision measurement. Students will work on cutting-edge experiments involving laser-cooled atoms, cavity QED systems, and quantum-enhanced metrology protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field. Strong background in quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, and laboratory experience preferred.
Postdoctoral Researchers
Opportunities Available: Positions available for postdoctoral researchers with experience in atomic physics, quantum optics, or precision measurement. Successful candidates will lead independent research projects and mentor graduate students.
Requirements: PhD in Physics or related field with demonstrated research experience in relevant areas. Strong publication record and excellent communication skills required.
Undergraduate Researchers
Opportunities Available: Research opportunities for motivated undergraduate students through work-study programs, summer research experiences, and honors thesis projects.
Requirements: Strong academic performance in physics courses and genuine interest in experimental research. Previous laboratory experience helpful but not required.
How to Apply: Interested candidates should contact Francisco Salces Carcoba at fsalces@unm.edu with a CV and a brief description of research interests.
