CE-477: Advanced Planning and Estimating:

Time and cost budgeting is used for project control through management information and systems engineering. Topics to include- Cost integrated Scheduling, Earned Value, Probabilistic Estimating and Scheduling, Crashing, Trade-off Analysis and Forecasting.
Prerequisite: 277 or Equivalent.

SPRING:

CE-479L/579L: Methods Improvement Lab:

This course focuses on the core of Construction Engineering and Management. It deals with improving the efficiency with which construction operations are performed. Management of productivity, involving Preplanning, Work Sampling, Time Lapse Photography, methods analysis and methods improvement related to construction. Safety, motivation and worker satisfaction as related to productivity are included.
Prerequisite: Senior Standing.

CE-492/598: Design/Construction Integration:

This course provides students the opportunity to design and develop a comprehensive, innovative construction management plan for a  construction project, including consideration of cost time and the production process. A detailed study will be developed based on written proposals by student teams.
