  Rattle/Ankle Jingle  (68.59.34)
Cameroon
Idiophone

Common in many parts of the world, jingles, or instruments made of resonant objects strung together, are used to accompany dance and song.  Often jingles are worn, but some are carried and shaken.  They may also be attached to another instrument.  This jingle is a woven form, with attached seed pods.
