SYNOPSIS:
The fascinating world of the circus, the secret exchange of newborns
at birth and the striking contrast between identical twins' personalities
are the three basic elements that make "Kassandra" an absorbing story.
Kassandra (Coraima Torres) is a beautiful gypsy dancer who falls in
love with Luis David (Osvaldo Rios), one of the twins. When Luis
David has to leave town without saying a word, Ignacio (Osvaldo Rios),
his twin brother, takes advantage of the situation. He marries the
gypsy after discovering she's the true heir to his step-father's fortune.
On their wedding night, Ignacio is murdered without Kassandra's
knowledge (she thinks he abandoned her) and Luis David returns to search
for the killer by assuming his brother's identity. His suspicions fall on the
young widow who is unaware of the truth behind her husband's identity.

RESUMEN:
El mundo fascinante del circo, un cambio de recién nacidos
y la diferencia de caracteres de dos gemelos idénticos, constituyen
el marco que sirve de referencia a la historia de Kassandra (Coraima
Torres), una hermosa bailarina gitana quien se enamora de Luis David
(Osvaldo Rios), uno de esos gemelos.
Cuando éste último se ve obligado a marcharse del pueblo,
la situación es aprovechada por su hermano Ignacio (Osvaldo Rios)
para casarse con la que sabe real heredera de su familia, la gitana.
La noche de la boda el novio es asesinado sin que Kassandra se
entere, y Luis David regresa para descubrir al asesino, asumiendo la
personalidad de su hermano. Sus sospechas recaen sobre la joven
viuda, quien desconoce la verdad acerca de la identidad de su marido.
