Ranjit Bose, Ph.D.

Regents' Professor, Anderson Schools of Management, University of New Mexico

Ranjit Bose is Regents' Professor of Management Information Systems at the Anderson School of Management of the University of New Mexico. Professor Bose is the MIS Concentration advisor to the BBA and MBA students. His primary research emphasis is on the design and development of intelligent decision support and knowledge-based systems. His research has appeared in several computer science and management information systems journals such as Information and Software Technology, Journal of Network and Computer Applications, Heuristics--The Journal of Intelligent Technologies, Expert Systems--The International Journal of Knowledge Engineering and Neural Networks, Expert Systems with Applications, International Journal of Applied Expert Systems, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Database for Advances in Information Systems, Industrial Management & Data Systems, International Journal of E-Business Research, Knowledge and Process Management, and Knowledge-Based Systems. Professor Bose teaches an undergraduate and graduate course in Object-Oriented Systems Analysis & Design, and a graduate course in Decision Support and Business Intelligence Systems.

Professor Bose received his B. Tech. and M. Tech. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Indian School of Mines, India. He received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin.
