Course Description:

The design and development of information systems and software. Topics include software design, systems design, and systems implementation. Emphasis is on tools and techniques.

What will this course be about?

This is the second course in the sequence of Systems Analysis, Design and Implementation, and focuses on principles and skills. Our work begins where analysis ends and results in detailed specifications of hardware, software, inputs and outputs. We will use a project management tool (MS-Project), a CASE tool Visible Analyst Workbench (VAW), and prototyping (teams usually choose Access or C++).
