Wing Ong's wife, Wong Lin Ong, doesn't appear in the above photo. As Kim Ong
explains, in those years "My Mom was extremely camera shy."

The photo shown above was taken at David Ong's 80th birthday celebration
at a Chinese restaurant in San Francisco. The people in the photo include
50 descendants of Wing and Wong Lin Ong as well as other relatives, in-laws,
and friends. Kim Ong explains, "We were following the Chinese tradition of
big celebrations for 60th, 70th, 80th, 90th... birthdays."
