Interaction of photosynthetic and hydraulic responses to freezing and drought stress of Larrea spp. from north and south America.

This area of research has been a long-term effort with different areas of emphasis over time. Juliana Medeiros' dissertation research focused on drought and freezing-induced cavitation, and their interaction, across the large environmental gradients that exist within the distribution of Larrea tridentata in north America and Larrea divaricata in South America.
