I will be using a variety of sources for the course (none of them are required). Our primary source will be:

Another accessible source for a wide range of material is:

Nice introductions to quantum computing for non-physicists are given by:

• “Quantum Computer Science: An Introduction” by David Mermin

• “Quantum Computing: A Gentle Introduction” by Eleanor Rieffel and Wolfgang Polak.

More extensive texts on quantum information and computation, which can be excellent material for those wishing to further explore the subject:
